iDS Kiosk app for iPhone and iPad

FWI’s iDS Kiosk allows you to use your iOS device in a “kiosk” mode to present your Web Player Sign (web-based content and media files) or power your larger format screen from the device.

Signs presented will be displayed in full screen, without the navigation and status bars. In addition, you have the ability to control the lock screen of the current iOS device or all iOS devices using the same Apple ID while simultaneously disabling iOS devices’ Sleep/Auto-Lock mode.

iDS Kiosk allows you to enable (default) or disable the automatic cache refresh rate for content updates. When automatic refresh is enabled, the currently locked kiosk channel will refresh after the specified duration of end user inactivity. You can select between 1, 2, 5 (default), 10, 15 or 30 minutes of inactivity.

You can store up to 10 URLs and iDS Kiosk also provides a preview (webview) or URL contents. Videos can also be configured to play automatically.

Full orientation support as well as orientation lock allow you to position the iOS device in the most convenient manner for your display and enclosure.

In order to prevent users from exiting iDS Kiosk, the devices home button must be physically covered or Apples Guided Access mode enabled. In addition, an access code is used to secure or unlock the iDS Kiosk application screen enabling easy device management without risk of a user bypassing the display functions.
